Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Far & Wide AI Visibility Platform. Read them in full — by signing up you agree to them. If a clause is unclear, write to hello@farandwide.io before you accept.

1. Who you're contracting with

The platform is operated by Far and Wide B.V., based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (KvK / BTW registration in progress). Referred to below as "we", "us", "Far & Wide". "You" means the legal person creating the account.

2. What we provide

  • Free snapshot(also "Free Eligibility Snapshot") — a one-time technical health check on the domain you provide on your brand profile.
  • Full audit(also "Full AI Visibility Audit") — a 100-query measurement across five AI engines, delivered as a full diagnostic report with a prioritised fix plan. Runs as part of a subscription plan.
  • Subscription plans (Monitor, Fix and Growth) — recurring audits and tracking, billed monthly. Fix and Growth add AI-generated fixes, shipped to your site only after your explicit approval.

Our methodology is published in full at /methodology and is versioned. The version of the methodology in force at the time you triggered each run is the contractually relevant one for that run.

3. What we don't promise

AI answer engines are non-deterministic. Identical prompts produce different answers run to run (typically 40–60% variation). We therefore make no warranty that:

  • your brand will be mentioned, recommended, or cited by any specific engine;
  • any specific ranking, position, or share-of-voice can be achieved;
  • movements observed in re-runs are attributable to any specific intervention.

We sell honest measurement and a fix plan, not outcomes. Anyone promising you a specific AI ranking is selling something this product does not.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Domain ownership. You may only point the audit at domains you own or have written permission to audit. We perform a domain-verification step before the first full audit runs. Auditing a domain you do not control violates these terms and may breach third-party rights.
  • Accurate brand profile. The brand profile (name, description, supported markets, etc.) is what the engines compare their answers against. Inaccurate profile data will inflate the hallucination count for reasons unrelated to engine behaviour.
  • Account security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secret. Notify us at security@farandwide.io if you suspect compromise.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • audit domains you do not own or have not been authorised to audit;
  • resell, white-label, or repackage the diagnostic without a separate written agreement;
  • use the platform to harass, defame, or mislead third parties;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform;
  • upload personal data of identifiable individuals (the audit processes public web content and AI engine outputs — keep PII out).

6. Fees, payment, refunds

  • The free snapshot is free, one per brand profile, no card required.
  • Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe (see pricing). Cancelling stops future renewals; the running month is not refunded. VAT is calculated at checkout.
  • Refund policy: see /legal/refund.
  • Enterprise and white-label engagements are governed by a separate order form, which supersedes this section for those customers.

7. Intellectual property

  • You own your brand assets. Logos, brand names, descriptions, llms.txt content, and any URLs you supply remain yours.
  • We own the platform. The methodology, codebase, report template, fix-generation logic, and aggregated benchmark data remain ours.
  • Diagnostic deliverable. You receive a perpetual, worldwide licence to use the diagnostic report internally and in marketing/PR. Republishing the full template wholesale requires written permission.
  • Aggregated benchmarks. We may use de-identified, aggregated audit data to improve the platform and publish industry benchmarks. We will never publish identifying numbers for an individual client without consent.

8. Data processing & sub-processors

We act as processor under GDPR Art. 28; you are the controller. Each run you trigger is a documented instruction. Our sub-processors are listed at /legal/subprocessors. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request before your first paid run.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time by closing the account. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of these terms or applicable law. On termination we retain audit history for 12 months for our records, then delete it. You may request earlier deletion under our privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We will email account holders at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Each version of this document is archived and accessible on request.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the courts of Amsterdam unless mandatory consumer-protection rules require otherwise.
